This project, COVID-19: The Humanities Respond, conducted a series of interviews with faculty from University of California Irvine's School of Humanities from various disciplines about the cultural, historical, political, social, and philosophical dimensions of the pandemic experience (e.g., see the interview with Héctor Tobar on how the Latinx community copes and endures in a pandemic, portrayed on the left). One of those interviews–Peter Krapp's "Simulating a Pandemic: Technology’s Promise & Failure"–is also portrayed on our website.
