From HIV to COVID19: Anthropology, Urgency, and the Politics of Engagement
Project Description

This writing project seeks to highlight lessons learned from the HIV pandemic to think about the current situation with COVID-19 (Sangaramoorthy, Thurka. "From HIV to COVID19: Anthropology, Urgency, and the Politics of Engagement." Somatosphere, 2020.). The author, Thurka Sangaramoorthy, a cultural anthropologist, is also the author of Rapid Ethnographic Assessments: A Practical Approach and Toolkit for Collaborative Community Research (2020) and Treating AIDS: Politics of Difference, Paradox of Prevention (2014).
